The case study executive summaries below outline vulnerabilities that may be experienced due to future increases in extreme heat events as a result of projected changes in climate. The methodology focuses on examining the effects of extreme temperatures on personnel and facilities in the future. These case studies identified a suite of strategies to adapt to extreme heat that can be employed by WUCA utilities and others in the water sector.
