Federal Activities

The federal government, both the Obama Administration and Congress, is considering or implementing a number of programs related to climate change adaptation, including conducting a National Climate Assessment, formation of a National Climate Service, science investments through the U.S. Global Change Research Program, and others. WUCA members participate in these fora in various ways and seek to direct federal climate policy in a way that responds to the needs of the adaptation community, including water utilities.
